African Conflicts Displace Over 40 Million People
Over the past decade, Africa has witnessed a concerning trend of increasing forced displacement, predominantly driven by conflict, resulting in a staggering total of over 40 million people displaced. Among the most vulnerable are women and children, disproportionately affected by food insecurity as a consequence of displacement. With their livelihoods disrupted and access to basic necessities severely restricted, a significant number of women and children face dire circumstances, exacerbating an already challenging situation.
